About Mrs. Guerzon

I'm so excited and honored to be your 4th grade teacher!  I am Mrs. Guerzon and I'm originally from Hawaii. I have four kids and a Shih Tzu puppy named Teddy.  I graduated from UNLV with a bachelor's degree in accounting.  I worked as an accountant at one of the largest public accounting firms in the world for several years, but quit to take care of my four children.  For seven years, I volunteered at my children's schools, which instilled in me the love for teaching.  When the opportunity opened up for me to become a teacher through CCSD's ARL program, I decided to take advantage of it.  This will be my sixth year teaching and I truly love it!  I was fortunate enough to receive CCSD's New Educator of the Year award in my first year of teaching during the school year of 2016 - 2017. 

I love beaches, sunsets, photography, spicy food, and coffee. I also love to eat and trying out new foods. I enjoy watching my kids play different sports such as basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and soccer.  Most of all, I love spending time with my family, traveling together, and exploring new places.
